In Maximum Faith, author Barna provides a Bible-based working definition of transformation; data regarding the beliefs and behaviors of Christian adults that relate to the journey; obstacles to becoming transformed; the ten stops on the full journey to wholeness; the practices that have helped people to move from one stop to the next during the final half of the journey; the experiences that facilitate growth; and the fruit that are usually evident when a person reaches a specific stop on the journey.

You can buy it at maximumfaith.com or at amazon.com. We are currently working out the details of having the book available in bookstores and believe that will happen in about three months (perhaps around July 1).

I’m still trying to wrestle with how to measure the new metrics that the local church might consider as true transformation fruit…

I’m wondering if anyone is monitoring this blog because the Maximum Faith post was written in September 2009, and I don’t see any posts in 2011.
I did hear George speak at a church one week ago and am looking forward to reading the Maximum Faith book. It is available on Amazon.com. Didn’t see it on Christian Book Distributors.

The date listed is wrong. This posting was written March 17, 2011. There have been several other posts written this year as well.
The book is not currently available at CBD. Until at least July 1 the only distribution points for the physical book will be maximumfaith.com and amazon.com and some of the events at which I will be speaking.

It is only when the Church returms to operating under the power of the Holy Spirit power we will we improe themess our world is in And return it to Gof’s plan.

I’m still busy reading Maximum Faith which my wife bought for me (after a struggle to find it) for my birthday. WOW! It seems to be a record of my own history, current life and probably will reveal much of my future walk with a few other business leaders in Cape Town, South Africa.
I’m trying to lay my hands on a local source because I do feel that it highlights so much of what many locally are going through at the moment.
Thanks for this and some of your other books that I’ve read about 1-third of:>) I’m planning to finish this one.

What is the possibility to get access to the questionaire you used as mentioned in the first chapters of the book? I need something to evaluate our members state of faith(Where they are on their spiritual journey) as I am busy to develop a spiritual journey program for the congregation which will help every member to face his own spiritual station, decide what to do, discover what God has in store for himself and to help/guide them to decide on their spiritual journey foward with the help of a guide. Can you tell me why there are two different books on Amazon with the same title (Maximum Faith?) One is due to release in January for around ten dollars, the other one is available now for around thirteen? Are they the same content, different cover? Or something else.
